Sierrazul coffee is cultivated and produced in the Colombian Sierra Nevada by local native tribe called “Arhuacos” and is sold in Germany. The brand and packaging needed a complete refresh, and for this project was considered a complete phase of conceptual development before a final delivery of the visual identity.
Arhuacos uses a hand-knitted bag called “TUKU IKU” that incorporate a geometric pattern with have specific meanings, these patters give representations of elements, places, objects and animals.
The visual and geometrical representations of the Sierra Nevada mountains developed by the Arhuacos result in a modular design used among the visual identity, also with the evening colors that resemble a powerful emotional and cultural values to the packaging.
