This is a branding project including packaging design and product design. The brand is called Bjørk, which is silver birch in Norwegian. This is suitable because in Norway birch is used for decoration and it communicates the importance of natural materials, such as wood. The stationery is printed on handmade and recycled paper, which reflects the values and nature of the company. When using the logo, I have chosen to always stamp it on, so that the texture and material use will be visual in the logo. I have also made a secondary logo, which is the Norwegian letter “ø”, placed in the middle of the logo. To take a detail from the logo and use it independently, amplifies that it is an accessories store that is all about the details. I have produced nine wooden bowties and three pairs of cufflinks that will be sold in the store as a part of the collections the store offers. They are all made from natural and Norwegian inspired material.
