Infographics in general is the combination of information and graphics or visual together. Nowadays, infographics can be found at almost everywhere.
We are all surrounded by all kinds of information and data, which sometimes could be very heavy to our eyes, but with infographics, the implementation of visuals has made the whole information to look more visually engaging. Thus, allowing the audience to be able to read the information at ease.
Most of the infographics that we see, the usage of visual elements in it are symbols, icons, charts and some simple vector art. Therefore, this project is done to explore the effectiveness and functionality of illustrated infographics in our daily lives. Instead of using symbols, illustrations are incorporated in it.
So, one of my projects would be implementing illustrated infographic onto packaging design. I decided to use Yogood as my case study.
Yogood crunchy muesli is a breakfast cereal that has the fusion of various cereals with syrup/honey to produce that crunchy texture. It has many flavours which include strawberry and nut, chocolate and nut and many more.
The intention of redesign this product is to attract people who are conscious about their health, particularly female audience. Thus, a great emphasis of the design is paid on the important information on this packaging which include the ingredients and the nutritional facts. The design approach for this product is all about neat, sweet and engaging.
