I designed the West Side Wine Co. package for Precept Wine in Seattle. Canned wine is an emerging package type, and much of the existing packaging is targeted at millenials. My goal was to make a sophisticated canned wine that appeals to a large audience: both millenials and established wine drinkers.
To achieve a sophisticated look, I kept the layout and typography minimal and reserved. The broad white band with a simple vertical layout alludes to traditional wine labels, and the bold metallic colors at the top and bottom of the cans differentiate the two varieties.
