Volfas Engelman is one of the oldest and biggest breweries in Lithuania. Marking the 165th anniversary they recreated historic bottle form including all the embossed markings and details adapting it to the technical requirements of today. Without a doubt the special bottle requires the special label design.

Bottle itself dictates what label design should be. Our main task was to listen to what it says. We opened an archive of vintage beer labels and it was quite an inspiration for us. Using a mixture of vintage dielines and graphic elements, selecting vintage looking typefaces and finally recreating historic logotype of Volfas Engelman brewery let us to create new label design and let consumers feel some historic vibes coming to the shelves.
