The package for SOL REPUBLIC’S new Relays headphones is as streamlined as the headphones themselves. A minimalist package structure was designed to sacrifice nothing while still offering a premium unboxing experience. It was crafted to engage ­the consumer with a sense of purpose and elegance that is unique in the sports headphone category. The multi-stage unboxing process intuitively conveys the product assembly and provides a rich sense of discovery of the features as each layer is opened. A transparent side window showcases the range of bold colors and celebrates the new technology. The design focuses only on high-level messaging and iconography that are both designed to communicate these features clearly to a global audience while the new FreeFlex technology is introduced in a way that isn’t intimidating or overly technical to the end consumer.
