In our modern society, the notion of gender is becoming ever more fluid. As a result, cosmetics are being used by an ever growing array of individuals. The idea behind this project was to create a beauty product that appealed to both sexes and all genders.
So what is the one constant within this vast group of body conscious consumers?
What is the one thing each of these people use day in and day out, often in unison with the beauty products themselves?
… A mirror.
The beauty of the mirror motif is that it also represents the individuality of each consumer as they see their reflection in it. Furthermore, when standing alone, each round metal tin takes on the form of the circular mirror logo itself. Other ethical issues have been addressed through the use of recyclable materials within the packaging.
