The labels were designed by Jeni’s in-house Marketing Team—Jeni’s Splendid Art & Design Team—led by Founder & Creative Director, Jeni Britton Bauer, along with a collaboration with Igloo Letterpress studio in Worthington, OH. The type & textures were letterpressed at Igloo, then digitally assembled to form the finished label.


Igloo Letterpress has an extensive collection of antique wood and lead type, from which they create new and innovative designs. We were honored to work with Jeni’s to provide the text and pattern for their deliciously bright Salty Caramel Sauce labels. It was a perfect example of what Igloo strives to do – start with the heritage feel ofletterpress but pull the textures and shapes into the modern world with bright, contemporary colors.” Igloo Letterpress 


Salty Caramel Sauce – A traditional toasted sugar caramel sauce made with a generous amount of sea salt, fresh cream, and vanilla beans that pop like caviar. Perfectly toasted sugar tastes warm, buttery and nutty as opposed to a flavoring, which tastes flat in comparison.

Honey Butterscotch Sauce – Slowly caramelized Ohio honey mixed with butter, cream, and a big pinch of sea salt. Rich and aromatic with a salty, buttery finish. Shimmers like gold when drizzled over ice creams and cakes. Jeni’s original sauces contain no synthetic stabilizers, additives, or colorings.
