After spending half year in Tel Aviv with a lot of wonderful culinary delight I decided to prepare this local spicy sauce and i am giving it to my friends for present.
Schug is a Yemenite hot sauce. In Israel everybody is eating or dipping this green paste, with hummus, falafel, shwarma, malawach or any kind of main dishes. They just call it harif which means spicy.
Inside there is a lot of jalapeño chili, a tons of coriander, garlic and cumin. I filled the sauce into small jars and I designed a label what’s based on the hebrew “harif” characters and also on jalapeño which is the soul of this sauce’ s that burns your tongue and fingers.
