This is a packaging design of coloured pencils named, Creative Kingdom, which is aimed toward the primary school children.
Creative Kingdom this name was actually inspired by the way how child thinks. Child always like to imagine themselves has a high status like a King or Queen and lives inside the big and colourful castle. They also like to use toys and stuffs to build up their own castle by using their imagination and creativity.
The overall packaging was inspired by the form of a castle, like the logo and the packaging shape. For the logo, I decided to use castle as the logo mark, because it is related to the brand name, Creative Kingdom, and it’s friendlier to children. In addition, I created and emphasized the pencil’s lead on top of the castle roof to signified Creative Kingdom coloured pencils are very strong and high quality.
