CHIA & QUINOA Packaging
Chef’s Gateway – a HORECA (Hotel/Restaurant/Cafe) Industry supplier approached hdegree to get their packaging for Chia & Quinoa seeds, designed by us. Previously the firm sourced these seeds from vendors and sold them in transparent plastic packets. Since there was already a hoard of mundane looking organic packaging flooding the shelves, together we decided to add a fresh perspective.
Thus our basic approach was to create a packaging that safely housed these 100% natural & organic products, while simultaneously grabbing the eyeballs of the buyer in the first go.
The outcome – a completely modern yet minimalistic design was born that steered away from the old school style. And most importantly, to keep the organic element intact, we chose to incorporate food grade craft paper.
The end result was just one word-phenomenal. As soon as the product was re-launched and found its way back to the store shelves, it sold like hotcakes.
