“They say that the apple never falls far from the tree-but in this case we’ve made an exception. Traditionally most cider packaging is based on the refreshing, natural cues of the fruit. However the target market of 18-24 year old females for Archer’s Cider meant that we could concentrate on the ‘occasion’, rather than the obvious origins of the product. I created vivacious, exciting imagery that totally challenges the category conventions.”
