Canadian cosmetic brand, Cargo, needed a new look and brand message. A makeover was needed to become more competitive and relevent. The new Cargo was to be adventurous, fun, and a little irreverant.
Working with New York based design agency, RPG, we created a new story and voice for Cargo that included logo design, primary and secondary packaging and re-branding guidelines. The company’s brand roots, “Your Make-Up Is Your Cargo…Take It Everywhere,” helped to shape the new direction. Skylines of global cities and landscapes grace the packaging faces–congjuring the idea of travel, adventure, and mystery.
