Craft Beer packaging and collateral
Brief:
Design craft beer brand for a niche South African market segment. The collateral consist of primary and secondary packaging as well as promotional items.
Target market
Primary: Young urban sophisticated beer drinkers aged 25 – 35 who are health conscious or enjoy the pleasures of beer without the alcohol.
Rationale:
I chose the name Saksarel. In Afrikaans this idiom means to stop exaggerating. I’ve decided to create a non-alcoholic beer that creates the illusion of a full alcohol beer. Bold typographic percentages on the labels ostensibly suggest alcohol content, but on closer inspection reveal the amounts of hobs, water and grain.
