In package design class, the task was to make a pair of innovative packaging for eggs that embody the keywords ‘loneliness’ and ‘greed’. I sought to design an unusual and interesting shape that is made of sustainable, environmentally friendly material. The idea was to make a box of one corrugated cardboard piece that needs no glueing, and that protects and at the same time shows the content. The packaging is held together by an easily removable paper ring. The keywords are displayed by the number of eggs in the boxes: the first package can accomodate only one egg (loneliness) and other can accomodate three (greed). The words ‘loneliness’ and ‘greed’ begin with the same letter in hungarian (magány and mohóság, respectively) making it easier to design a common logo for the two sub-brand.
