The mandate for this project was to create a limited-edition package to celebrate an influential person or invention. I chose to focus on stereoscopy, or the process of simulating three-dimensional images.
I made my package into a fully-functional oak stereoscope, and included a hand-bound hardcover book, DVD, and handmade anaglyphic glasses. The stereoscopic images and glasses can all be made by detaching them from the book itself (some assembly required!)
