What makes a better giveaway as a staff appreciation gift than beer? I was tasked with designing some custom beer labels for a staff retreat and decided to leverage illustration to emphasize the hand-made feel (we brewed and bottled the beer ourselves). I even got to name them! Referencing famous St. Thomas traditions and some famous faces, we were overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response. In a spur of the moment decision, we auctioned off extra bottles of our small run to raise money for a scholarship. The final tally? Just shy of a $1000. Not too shabby.
