In Spring 2014 Mack Weldon launched their SILVER collection which features X-static® XT2™ cutting-edge fiber technology. The addition of the precious metal helps deliver a new level of benefits to men’s underwear. Blackrose was asked to create a distinct brand identity for this new collection including visual identity, packaging, brand video, copy and voice, and on-product marketing. The goal was to differentiate it from existing product and enhance Silver’s technologically advanced attributes. The logo’s type is a takedown from the original MW logo, thinned and stenciled for a modern, utilitarian feel. The color palette, like the product, is created from dark grays and black.
