Særnorsk’s mission is to bring the freshest, most tasty and most distinctive produce Norway has to offer to the local supermarkets. The products are often produced in limited quantities, and come from small farms or producers specializing in this one, gourmet product only.
The concept of the packaging is that each product has something special to it—a story that needs to be told. The story is told through pencil illustrations and hand written snippets from each individual farm or producer about what makes them or their products so special that they get to be in Særnorsk selection.
The products’ names tells you specifically where in the country the products come from—often small nooks and crannies—emphasizing on the “small farm”-feeling.
