A packaging design project undertaken in college. My concept was to develop a new packaging solution for an old industrial stout produced in Cork City. The bottles have a sturdy, heavy feel and an opaque, gunmetal finish. The label is a one colour print on rough, thick paper with product information bolted onto it to give a industrial, quality feel for the ‘hard working man’. The new name – Old Man Liver is a tongue-in-cheek nod to the older, loyal customer.
