Miin is a Korean traditional rice wine brewery at Paju.
Haeng-sook Choi, the master of the brewery produces Miin Yakju (clear rice wine), Miin Takju (turbid rice wine), and Ahwang-ju.
Inspired by old maps from Joseon Dynasty, we drew “Miin Brewery Map” for the graphic, with Chinese characters.
“MIIN” means beautiful woman in Korean. It is written in Kanji and stylized to resemble an aerial view of rice patties or trails.
We created sophisticated curved lines hot-stamped with a gold lined drawing to deliver images of beauty.
