This project is a redesign of the Lagunitas beer bottles (both the 12 oz and 22 oz). The original identity was inspired by Petey, the dog from “The Little Rascals”. Rather than creating a new identity, I chose to give the original a shave and a haircut. Their current packaging has a handmade, letterpress feel, but is unresolved in its execution. I chose to create something that has the same feel, but created a cohesive system that can be applied consistently to numerous beer styles.
