Pargas is located in Åboland in the province of Western Finland. The big limestone mine in Pargas is the base of the main industry. They are also well known for their gingerbread cookies.
Taking inspiration from the industrial background of Pargas and from the Wiener Werkstätte, I created a packaging concept for Pargas gingerbread cookies. Using linocuts for both the illustration and the typography gave the packaging a raw look, but also a homemade feeling, just as the cookies.
