Folklore & Farm
Print / Identity
I branded a butcher shop that sold fictional animal meats to critique the food product advertising industry. The reliance upon the words natural, free range, and others alike dominates how our foods are sold to us and most of the time these words don’t really mean anything. The word natural can be put on anything and still contain harmful chemicals and pesticides. In my packaging I used the conventions of a butcher shop to make these fake creatures “real” using words like 100% all natural, fresh, and cut in the U.S.A that further the absurdity of the packaging.
