A competition contribution for “PIDA 2014, Packaging Impact Design Award”. The brief was to challenge the traditional champagne packaging being the ultimate of luxury drinks and instead transforming them to reflect a young target group with different consumer habits. We decided to name our champagne-brand to “Dela” because of it’s meaning in swedish – “sharing”.
Our vision was for the package to become the picnic basket it self as a part of the fun with bringing it with you. We therefore made two drinking glasses out of cardboard that comes with the package, which also protect the bottles from accidentally bumping in to each other.
