Branding and packaging for three different grades of maple syrup. The inspiration for this project was the stark beauty of the earliest days of spring, when maple sap is gathered and boiled down to make syrup. A few details of the awakening boreal forest are captured in pencil sketches: animal prints in the snow; the beautiful and fleeting frost flower; the texture of bark.
