For my first project at university, we were given a brief entitled ‘Journey.’ We had to go on a journey, and produce a non-screen-based outcome (i.e. a booklet or physical manifestation) that integrated text and image. I chose the area of Primrose Hill to explore, and I then narrowed that down to the Blue Plaques that reside in the area. I wanted to inform the consumer of the area whilst they have a few tea-brewing minutes to spare, whilst still attracting attention through aesthetic and visual design.
Though this wasn’t my final outcome, I am still pleased with my design. In the end, this was a bit too commercial for the end product of this project. I made a booklet instead which you can view on my profile (to be uploaded).
