Bender’s Whiskey Co. officially launched in 2013 on San Francisco’s, Treasure Island in San Francisco California. Born of the collaborative efforts of two passionate individuals with a desire to create a distinctive small batch rye, the brand needed to be as quirky, unexpected and unique as the vision of the company.
To accomplish this goal Okay leaned on the company’s San Francsico roots and their home on Treasure Island, creating seafaring themed graphics that set it a part behind the bar and on the shelf. The result was a brand that was quickly embrassed by the booming cocktail culture of the Bay Area, distribution in California, Oregon and Washington D.C. and a sold out first batch, all within 8 months of launch.
