Description:

The Aroma brand produces products based on essential oils – a line of special products designed for indoor aromatization. All products manufactured by the company are made on the basis of natural ingredients. For 15 years of its existence, the company has established itself as a company for the production of high-quality and natural products.

The main problem with the packaging of most fragrance oils sold on the Russian market is the inability to smell and recognize the aroma of the oil before buying: the bubbles with essential oils are hermetically sealed to avoid accidental spillage or evaporation. It is the solution to this problem that has become the main idea of packaging. On the front part of the box, which contains a bottle of oil, there is a large white drop-a symbol of essential oil. The drop has a fingerprint that is so familiar to consumers – a similar icon is used to unlock a mobile phone with a touch of the hand. If the buyer puts his finger to this print on the package, then takes his hand away and sniffs a drop, he will be able to smell the oil that is inside in a sealed bottle. The smell appears due to the use of aromatic varnish on a drop, the microgranules of which react to the pressure of a human hand. The bright background of each package correlates with the smell and helps visual identification, for example, orange is orange, green is lime, and yellow is the smell of lemon.

Special thanks should be delivered to Russian Higher School of Economics (HSE Art and Design School) and personally to Packaging tutor Evgeny Razumov & to Leonid Slavin, head of Art direction MA Program.
