Afu is, by statistic, Taobao’s leading essential oil brand by sales, as well as China’s No.1 home-grown Naturalist. On this occasion, CC inherited the brand’s natural and vintage visual languages, and added a twist (story). When you were little, didn’t you like to collect fresh flowers and dry them by putting them inside books? The concept reflects on our gift box design. Also for individual soaps and facial mask, we deliberately added a touch of old apothecary style in hope of strengthening the vintage aspect. The result? A total sales of 7,994 units and 12,310 times wishlisted for four product listings recorded already in the first month of launch (2015/7/5 – 2015/8/5)
