Gartien is a Malysia pastry shop that specialises in making pineapple cakes and jam from homegrown pineapples and other natural resources from Penang. Their products are prepared using a traditional secret recipe and a hygienic and meticulous preparation process.
The objective of Gartien’s packaging design is to promote the brand’s philosophy, with an emphasis on the freshness of the ingredients used as well as the meticulous preparation that goes into its products. The illustrations are also specially crafted to depict the process of growing pineapples, from start to harvest.
The design also incorporates the uniqueness of our local culture and heritageand at the same time insisting on using sustainable material for its packaging.
