This is a package design for company called Public House Brewing Co. I really liked the work I was able to do on this so had to include it in my portfolio. The can designs were based on the client’s mock ups (at the bottom of the page). Logo design by Nicole Cooper, also from Fat Chimp Studios.
Design 1 for the Stout can based loosely on the client’s mock up for the can. Added a tree texture in the background of the can that would show when light hits it.
Design 2 for the Stout can based more closely on the client’s mock up for the can. Got rid of the red shape for the text and used the negative space left by the logo in the background as text placement.
Design 3 for the Stout can which is quite outside the client’s design idea. Went with it because the idea came and I had to run with it to see what it would look like. I like to try and show the client something different from what they may have had in mind just to give them something else to look at.
