Zaharni Zavodi was founded in 1912 as a small family factory for sugar & sugar products. Today it’s a leading manufacturer in Bulgaria. Their bulgarian delight product (lokum) is known by generations of Bulgarians as “the bulgarian delight with the rose picker” and is prepared with the original recipe for more than 100 years.
The aim of the project was to create the identity and packaging design for this product highlighting their origin as their principal attribute. The logotype was re-designed accompanied with a plain color illustration of the traditional bulgarian rose picker, as a result of a traditional quality product. Also, a product naming – “Naslada” – was added to differenciate it from others of the brand and their competitors in the market.
