The Nattering Chook Brewing Company, an award winning microbrewery in Bend, Oregon, presents the “Breakout Birds” character pack titled “The One Who Squawked”. Using a typographic approach, illustrations were created out of only type and glyphs to portray the chickens of the notorious gang The Beaked Bandits, who police finally arrested when one gang member double crossed the others.
Keeping with a black and white jailbird theme the pop of colour emphasizes the kind of beer and ties in with a single part of the illustration.
